I’m a PhD Researcher at Delft University of Technology in the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. I focus on service- and product innovation for heat pumps in residential buildings. I make use of qualitative methods to understand users and organisations, and quantitative, data-enabled approaches to uncover preferences and practices. This work is carried out in the context of the IEBB-project (Integrale Energietransitie Bestaande Bouw) that aims to develop affordable and user-friendly renovation concepts for the Dutch housing stock.
